I am a journalist and illustrator living and drawing in the U.S. since 1998, when I came over from Spain to work for a newspaper in Southern California. Now I'm a staff artist at The Seattle Times and enjoy living in the Pacific Northwest with my family.

On this site you'll find a few samples of my illustration work in newspapers, magazines and websites. I specialize in location drawing and editorial illustration. I'm also the founder of the worldwide network of artists-reporters Urban Sketchers.

I'm available for freelance assignments from magazines and other editorial outlets.
